Job summary

Crane Aerospace and Electronics in Elyria, OH is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure product quality and support AS9145 implementation. You will analyze data, perform root-cause analysis, and drive corrective actions while collaborating across engineering, operations, and suppliers.

The role emphasizes quality system maintenance, audits support, and developing process controls. FAA sensitive position with strong emphasis on compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, and MSA in AS9145 environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Suppliers, and Customers to ensure quality;
• Analyze production data to identify trends and root causes;
• Lead corrective and preventive actions to mitigate risks;
• Support audits by Defense, Aerospace, and Customer Auditors;
• Develop and maintain Control Plans, PFMEAs, and PFDs.
