Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Jupiter, Florida is seeking a qualified Quality Assurance professional for an onsite role. You will develop, audit, and maintain AS9100/9110 compliant QMS, review FAI documents, issue Quality Notifications, and drive corrective actions across manufacturing, inspection and test operations.

The role requires 5+ years of related experience, a Bachelor’s degree (or 3+ years with an advanced degree), and the ability to obtain Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree) with 5+ years of relevant experience, or 3+ years with an advanced degree.
• Ability to attain and maintain Secret Clearance.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Knowledge of aerospace quality standards including AS9100, AS9102, ISO9001.

Responsibilities

• Develop processes, procedures and work instructions in support of AS9100/9110 compliant QMS.
• Perform process, work instruction, and AS9100/9110 audits/reviews.
• Review and approve FAIs.
• Issue and close Quality Notifications (QN).
• Lead in DAISE, PRT, and audit close-out reviews to ensure issue recurrence elimination.
• Improve manufacturing, assembly, inspection and test processes to reduce defects and prevent quality escapes.
• Develop and deliver QMS training to inspection and operations teams.
• Support continuous improvement activities.
• Interface with groups to resolve technical/quality issues.
• Track and trend quality metrics / CAB.
• Quality Stamp control.
• Variation control and closure.
