Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist for a remote role based in the United States. You will review AS9102 Form 2, interpret drawings and specifications, and report non-conformances to suppliers while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate holds a STEM degree with 3–5+ years of related experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with FAI processes. Some flexibility for evenings/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience; or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, certifications, and process documentation.
• Experience with review of FAI.
• Experience communicating technical findings, non‑conformances, or quality requirements across cross‑functional teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Review AS9102 Form 2 to validate materials, parts, and processes.
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications, certifications, procedures.
• Communicate non‑conformances with internal and external stakeholders.
• Document and report non‑conformances to suppliers.
• Works autonomously with limited supervision.
• Attend and have participation in group meetings, teleconferences and/or training required.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement activities using CORE tools.
• Based on business needs, the incumbent may be required to work evenings and weekends.
