Job summary

Valcor Engineering Corporation in New Jersey seeks a Quality Specialist to compile and maintain quality documentation, data packages, and CofCs to meet customer and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, Planning, Shipping, and Customer Service to ensure documentation accuracy and on-time deliveries.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in aerospace/defense documentation or QA, reads specs and drawings, and is proficient with MS Office and Adobe.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in aerospace/defense manufacturing documentation or quality assurance.
• Able to compile controlled documentation packages (travelers, CofCs, test records, certs).
• Able to read specifications, drawings, prints, and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Compile data packages and certificates per customer requirements and organize for final shipment.
• Review data packages for completeness, legibility, revision-level accuracy, and configuration compliance.
• Coordinate and witness customer/DCMA visits per quality plans and PO requirements.
• Sign off on the job traveler, data package, and CofC after verification.
• Work with customer service, shipping, and planning on RMAs; review warranty status and document as-is condition.
• Escalate quality issues and nonconformance products to internal teams.
• Assist Quality Engineers and Quality Managers as needed.
