Job summary

Eastridge Workforce Solutions seeks an Aerospace Quality Documentation Specialist to serve as the final checkpoint for conformance in a well-established aerospace/defense manufacturer in Buena Park, CA. You will own and verify documentation critical to product releases, ensuring shipments meet exacting standards.

The role emphasizes accuracy, with responsibilities spanning CoC preparation, verification of specs, and collaboration across Quality, Production, and Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret engineering drawings, orders, specs, inspection reports, and certifications.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Proficient in maintaining accurate quality documentation and records.
• Experience with AS9100D, FAIR/PPAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and issue Certificates of Conformance (CoCs) for customer shipments.
• Verify part numbers, revisions, quantities, and lot/heat traceability against POs, specs, and customer requirements.
• Review inspection records, material and special process certifications, and FAIR/PPAP status prior to product release.
• Coordinate with Quality, Production, Engineering, Planning, and Shipping to resolve documentation discrepancies.
• Identify and elevate incomplete or inconsistent documentation, and assist internal and customer AS9100 audits.

Opportunity Summary

This role sits at the center of quality and compliance for a well-established aerospace and defense manufacturer, where every shipment depends on documentation being right the first time. You'll be the final checkpoint ensuring products meet the exacting standards the aerospace industry demands, giving you real ownership and visibility in a role that directly protects customer trust and product integrity.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and issue Certificates of Conformance (CoCs) for customer shipments.
• Verify part numbers, revisions, quantities, and lot/heat traceability against purchase orders, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Review inspection records, material and special process certifications, and FAIR/PPAP status prior to product release.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, purchase orders, specifications, inspection reports, and material/special process certifications.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and computer skills.

Preferred

• Technical or associate degree.
• 2+ years of quality, manufacturing documentation, or inspection documentation experience.
• Aerospace and defense manufacturing experience.
• Experience preparing or reviewing Certificates of Conformance (CoCs).
• Working knowledge of AS9100D, AS9102/FAIR, and APQP/PPAP requirements.
• Experience with ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and customer portals such as Net-Inspect.
