Marotta Controls, Inc. in Montville, NJ is seeking a Document Specialist to review hardware and documentation before final inspection and to work with technicians on assembly, testing, and repair of production hardware in a climate-controlled facility.

You will read blueprints, generate data spreadsheets, and document inspection results, supporting corrective actions. Eligibility includes 0–2 years’ experience, a high school diploma, attention to detail, and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years’ experience with documentation/inspection in a manufacturing or production environment with mechanical parts.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a team environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and component manuals.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Review valves produced within the production cell and accompanying documentation before final inspection.
• Perform visual inspections and check connectors, torque blocks, and ports.
• Generate spreadsheets for data collection and input data into quality databases.
• Identify non-conformances and participate in corrective actions.
• Read blueprints/schematics and document inspection results.
