Job summary

PPG Industries (UK) Limited in Avon, MA is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to oversee Quality Control personnel and ensure that all products and processes meet internal, customer, and regulatory standards. You will proactively identify quality issues for corrective actions and drive improvements to protect customer satisfaction.

This on-site role reports to the Quality Manager and involves direct supervision, investigations, and process validation support to maintain AS9100 compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing.
• 3+ years of formal people management experience.
• Experience training new and existing employees.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervising a team of Quality Control Technicians.
• Support root cause analysis and quality investigations as needed.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 QMS.
• Generate quality control metrics and reports to support performance.
