Job summary

Triumph in West Hartford, CT seeks a Systems & Compliance Quality Engineer to oversee the Quality Management System, audit programs, and corrective actions. The role ensures regulatory compliance and drives continuous improvement across internal and supplier interfaces.

You will coordinate audits, train personnel, review procedures, and report to senior leadership. A STEM degree with 5+ years in quality or engineering is expected, including RCCA and AS9100D experience.

Qualifications

• Typically requires bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM).
• Minimum 5 years experience in Quality, Engineering or Operations with related audit experience.
• Internal audit experience with AS13100 & AS9100D standards.
• Completed certified auditor training required.
• Experience with QMS, RCCA, 8D methodology, and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the System and Compliance System.
• Manage the internal and external Quality Audit program.
• Manage the Corrective Action System and document control.
• Manage changes, reviews, and releases of procedures that impact the QMS.
• Organize and track audit activities and provide training and post-audit follow-ups.
• Communicate policies, regulations, and guidelines to ensure compliance.
• Ensure compliance to the QMS and internal audit program.
• Drive standardization of QMS and related processes.
• Recommend corrective actions and lead RCCA investigations.
• Interface with Quality Manager, Engineers, and Inspectors on quality requirements.
• Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies as needed.
• Create presentations for senior leadership.
