Job summary

Triumph Systems, Electronics and Controls, based in West Hartford, CT, is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to support internal and external customers and strengthen quality across manufacturing processes in a leading aerospace supplier.

The role emphasizes implementing QA strategies, data-driven improvements, and collaboration with multiple departments, with opportunities for advancement. A 5+ year quality background in manufacturing and aerospace familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred.
• 5+ years in a quality role within a complex manufacturing environment.
• Aerospace knowledge/experience and regulatory familiarity preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills (8D) and statistical tools usage.
• Experience with AS9100/ISO-9001 and related quality standards.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Oversee customer/program, manufacturing process and supplier quality engineering duties.
• Develop and analyze statistical data to drive process improvements in the Hydromechanical value stream.
• Develop, implement, and audit quality management systems and relevant documentation.
• Provide quality interface between the organization and customers, including contract review and corrective actions.
• Support new product development and launch activities with quality planning and controls.
• Facilitate problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives across departments.
