Job summary

Airbus Aerosystems Kinston, Inc. in Kinston, NC is seeking a Quality Multi-Function Manager, FPI to lead quality functions in a high-stakes aerospace environment. You will ensure adherence to QMS, Safety Management Systems, and FOD programs, collaborating with Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain to drive quality excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of equivalent experience in aviation industry.
• Minimum 5 years in quality assurance, quality control, manufacturing operations, or similar in aviation.
• Willingness to travel up to 5% to domestic/international customers or suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of aviation QMS, Safety Management Systems, and FOD programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead/direct quality organizations or cross-functional quality integration.
• Manage quality personnel within assigned area and implement quality measures.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain to integrate quality into production.
• Train and mentor quality team members to foster accountability.
• Interface with suppliers, customers, and regulators to meet priorities.
