Job summary

Airbus Aerosystems Kinston is seeking a Quality Multi-Function Manager, FAB to lead the Product Inspection team in Kinston, NC. You will monitor adherence to manufacturing and quality processes to ensure compliance with aviation standards and internal procedures.

The role requires leadership of quality personnel, driving process improvements and partnering with Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain to embed quality throughout production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
• Associate’s degree or 6 years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality assurance, quality control, manufacturing operations, manufacturing engineering / methods, or a similar role within the aviation industry.
• Willingness to travel up to 5% to domestic and/or international customers or suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of aviation Quality Management Systems, Safety Management Systems, and FOD programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead/directs quality organizations or provides cross-functional quality integration leadership.
• Manage Quality personnel within assigned functional area.
• Establishes, oversees, and administers processes, policies, and best practices; determine resource requirements and quality measures.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain to integrate quality requirements into production and sourcing.
• Train and mentor quality team members and drive a culture of accountability and safety.
