Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products Corp. (CPP) seeks a Quality Manager - Aerospace to establish and maintain robust quality processes in a high-growth environment.

You will lead the Quality Assurance department, oversee compliance with AS9100, Nadcap and customer requirements, and drive improvements across the organization. A Bachelor's in engineering and 8+ years in QA leadership, preferably in aerospace, are required.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field required.
• Experience: 8+ years previous experience in a Quality Assurance leadership role required for this position, previous aerospace experience strongly preferred.
• Certifications/Licenses: Six Sigma Black belt, ASQ, Lean Six Sigma certifications strongly preferred.
• Other Knowledge: Working knowledge of ISO/AS9100/Nadcap and customer requirements

Responsibilities

• Establish, implement and maintain processes within the quality management system to deliver intended outputs.
• Report on performance of the quality management system to top management.
• Promote the organization to be customer focused.
• Ensure integrity of the QMS during planned changes.
• Develop and manage policies to ensure compliance with internal/external quality requirements.
• Ensure awareness and conformity to AS 9100, ISO, Nadcap and customer requirements.
• Ensure training and certification in QA programs.
• Collaborate with key customers for quality issues and audits/certifications.
• Provide leadership for the Quality Assurance department.
• Report QMS performance to the Executive team.
• Acquire additional certifications and credentials as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Comply with safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies.
• Ability to work at the CPP Syracuse Facility.
