Bastion Technologies, Inc. seeks a Quality Assurance Specialist to support the NASA SMAS II program at the Canoga Park, CA site. You will perform inspections and surveillance of space flight hardware to ensure compliance with customer and company requirements.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of related experience, US citizenship, and familiarity with AS9100/ISO 9001. The role requires reading complex blueprints and initiating NCRs, with emphasis on documenting results and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• This position requires US Citizenship.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience; NASA experience preferred.
• Knowledge of AS9100 / ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements.
• Ability to read complex blueprints, charts, and specs.
• Initiate non-conformance reports and track corrective actions.
• Maintain required QA training and certifications.
• Familiarity with inspection of raw materials and sub-assemblies.

Responsabilités

• Perform QA inspection, assessment, and surveillance for space flight hardware.
• Maintain required training and certifications for QA stamp authorization.
• Apply quality requirements per plans across fabrication, testing, and final inspections.
• Interpret AS9100 / ISO 9001 requirements against complex drawings and specs.
• Document results and report inspection findings, monitor corrective actions.
