Bastion Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist - Mechanical to support the SMAS II contract at Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, AL.

The role requires 5+ years of QA experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to read complex blueprints and perform CMM-based measurements. This onsite position includes responsibilities across fabrication, testing, first article, and final inspections, with a focus on AS9100/ISO 9001 quality systems and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 5+ years of related work experience.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and specifications.
• Proficient with CMMs, Laser Trackers, and optical measurement systems.
• GD&T knowledge to ASME Y14.5.

Responsabilités

• Perform QAS inspection functions for space flight hardware per customer and company requirements.
• Maintain current training and certifications for quality stamp authorization and warranty expectations.
• Execute quality requirements per QA plans during fabrication, testing, inspections.
• Apply QA system knowledge to interpret blueprints, charts, and specs.
• Other duties as assigned.
