Bastion Technologies, Inc. in Clearwater, FL seeks a Quality Assurance Specialist to support NASA SMAS II programs. Responsibilities include inspections, surveillance, and adherence to AS9100/ISO 9001 across hardware life cycles.

Requires 5+ years experience, US Citizenship, and strong blueprints interpretation. Onsite work with potential travel; background checks and drug screening apply. Ideal candidates hold CIS certification and have aerospace/flight hardware experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience; NASA experience highly desired.
• Knowledge of AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 Quality Management System Requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, charts, and specs.
• Must be able to initiate non-conformance reports and document inspection results.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA inspections, assessments, and surveillance for space flight hardware.
• Maintain training and certifications to uphold QA stamp authorization.
• Apply QA plans and specifications during fabrication, testing, and inspections.
• Verify test results and documentation for materials and sub-assemblies.
• Support adherence to AS9100 / ISO 9001 requirements.
