Job summary

Bastion Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to support the NASA space program from our West Palm Beach, FL facility.

The role focuses on inspection, surveillance, and compliance with AS9100/ISO9001 quality systems across hardware fabrication, testing, and final inspections. The ideal candidate has US citizenship, 5 years of related experience, and the ability to read complex blueprints and schematics.

Qualifications

• This position requires US Citizenship due to the sensitivity of information.
• Must have a High School or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience; NASA experience highly desired.
• Knowledge of AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 Quality Management System Requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, technical charts, and specs.
• Initiate non-conformance reports, document inspection results, and monitor corrective actions.
• Maintain training certifications required for quality inspection stamp and warranty.

Responsibilities

• Perform QAS inspection, assessment, and surveillance for space flight hardware per requirements.
• Maintain required training and certifications to uphold quality inspection stamp and warranty expectations.
• Execute quality requirements per QA plans during fabrication, testing, first article, and final inspections.
• Apply knowledge of AS9100/ISO9001 while interpreting blueprints, charts, and specifications.
• Other duties as assigned.
