Job summary

Bastion in Pasadena, CA is seeking a seasoned QA professional to support aerospace hardware programs. The role emphasizes implementing hardware QA, reviewing test data, and ensuring traceability across procurement, manufacturing and launch phases.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of experience, strong teamwork, and knowledge of QA systems (ISO/AS9100) with the ability to work onsite on a 9/80 schedule and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM related field is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of Aerospace QA and related areas like inspections and audits.
• Experience reviewing QA documentation and material traceability to PO requirements.
• Ability to work well in cohesive teams and communicate across groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective and efficient solutions by meeting project objectives and quality standards.
• Participate in implementing a Hardware Quality Assurance program for each project.
• Under supervision, verify QA requirements are applied to flight and ground hardware.
• Monitor and track hardware status during procurement, manufacturing, assembly, and test through launch.
• Review test procedures, audit tests, and assess inspection results for compliance.
• Collaborate with design, build, test, deliver, and operate robotic space missions.
• Other duties as assigned.
