Job summary

Bastion Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Hardware Quality Assurance Engineer to support NASA/JPL MASS subcontract in Pasadena, CA.

The role focuses on end-to-end QA oversight for spacecraft, instruments, and sensors across subassembly and testing, including risk management. The ideal candidate holds a STEM bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of related experience and knowledge of aerospace QA, configuration management, inspections, and documentation review.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM field and 10+ years of related experience.
• Knowledge of Aerospace QA and related areas such as Quality Engineering, Configuration Management, and supplier audits.
• Experience reviewing QA documentation including material certifications, test data, and traceability.

Responsibilities

• Provide QA oversight for flight hardware from procurement through launch operations.
• Implement hardware QA program tailored to project needs.
• Verify QA requirements are met during build of flight hardware.
• Monitor hardware status through procurement, assembly, and test.
• Review procedures, tests, and inspection results for compliance.
• Collaborate with design, build, test, and operations teams across missions.
• Other duties as assigned.
