Job summary

Triumph Group, based in West Hartford, CT, is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to support internal and external customers and drive the QA strategy in a complex aerospace manufacturing environment.

The role involves overseeing quality across programs, manufacturing processes, and suppliers, with opportunities for advancement and a salary range aligned to experience and market standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in Quality role in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of AS9100/ISO-9001/AS13100 or similar standards.
• Experience with 8D/problem-solving and root cause analysis.
• Ability to interface across departments and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Customer / Program, Manufacturing Process and Supplier Quality Engineering Duties.
• Develop and analyze statistical data to improve Hydromechanical value stream performance.
• Implement Quality Management Systems documentation and continuous improvement.
• Provide quality interface with customers; ensure needs and expectations are met.
• Apply quality tools to support continuous improvement activities.
• Develop, implement, and audit inspection/test plans and criteria.
• Participate in new product development and launch activities.
