Job summary

Triumph is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer in West Hartford, CT. You will provide QA engineering support across departments, driving the quality strategy to meet industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements. Opportunity for management advancement.

Responsibilities include overseeing customer, program, and supplier quality, data analysis for process improvements, and development of QA documentation and plans. Travel ~10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, Quality or related field preferred.
• 5+ years in a Quality role within a complex manufacturing environment.
• Aerospace and regulatory knowledge/experience desired.
• Strong problem-solving and statistical tools experience.
• Familiar with AS9100/ISO-9001 and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Customer / Program, Manufacturing Process and Supplier Quality Engineering Duties.
• Develop and analyze data to recommend improvements in the Hydromechanical value stream.
• Implement and maintain Quality Management Systems documentation and processes.
• Interface with customers to ensure needs are understood and satisfied.
• Provide QA expertise to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop, implement, and audit inspection/test plans and acceptance criteria.
• Participate in new product development and launch activities.
