Job summary

Jobot in Orange County, CA seeks a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to support precision aerospace manufacturing. You will inspect machined components against drawings and customer specs, utilizing calipers, micrometers, and CMMs, and document results in ERP/MRP systems.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of blueprint reading, customer specifications, and aerospace standards.
• Experience with GD&T and aerospace quality requirements.
• Experience with CMM programming and inspection preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machined components and assemblies to drawings and specs.
• Interpret blueprints, heat treat specs, plating requirements, welding standards.
• Perform incoming, first article, in-process, and final inspections.
• Generate and document non-conformance reports and support corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100 and internal quality procedures.
• Verify routing and documentation accuracy throughout inspection processes.
• Complete inspection records and maintain quality documentation in ERP/MRP.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams on discrepancies.
