Job summary

The role covers inspection of soldered connections, use of gauges, calipers, micrometers, and internal audits; candidate should have 2–5 years aerospace-quality experience and ISO 9001 familiarity.

Shift is first, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime; benefits include health, 401k, and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–5 years of relevant inspection experience.
• Experience with blueprints and drawings.
• Familiar with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality norms.

Responsibilities

• Conducts examinations and quality control inspections on products, materials and components at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with established quality and reliability standards.
• Participates in analysis of statistical data from processes to confirm compliance or identify deviations.
• Performs routine visual inspection of soldered connections, mechanical inspections of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
• Maintains documentation for reporting acceptance/rejection of inspected items.
• Implements and maintains technical quality assurance procedures.
• Identifies design, process or other inefficiencies and reports quality concerns.
