Albany International is seeking an Inspector to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and general aircraft standards. You will perform receiving and in-process inspections, rework verification, and non-destructive testing under close supervision as part of our aerospace quality team.

The role requires reading and interpreting GD&T, basic math, and the ability to lift 40 lbs repeatedly. US Persons only; E-Verify may apply.

Qualificações

• High school graduate (or equivalent).
• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to understand Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
• Ability to understand basic mathematical methods.
• As a Department of Defense Contractor we are required to hire US Persons.

Responsabilidades

• Perform uncomplicated mechanical measurements using a range of measuring tools.
• Review reworked and repaired items for acceptance.
• Describe nonconformance situations and assist in the cause and resolution.
• Understand drawings and drawing notes.
• Perform Receiving and Inspection functions and in-process inspections.
• Perform non-destructive testing such as pressure and vacuum acceptance testing.
• Assist in higher levels of inspection.
• Other duties as assigned.
