Job summary

Pressco Products, a long‑standing aerospace manufacturing and machining company, seeks an experienced Purchasing Agent to manage raw materials, hardware, and outside processing purchases. Responsibilities include MRP scans, RFQs, POs, supplier coordination, and ensuring materials meet quality standards.

Role requires 3+ years in aerospace-related procurement, strong negotiation and communication skills, and proficiency with Infor VISUAL ERP and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing or distribution procurement experience
• 3+ years of purchasing metals and polymers
• Excellent attendance and time management
• Strong negotiation and communication skills with minimal oversight
• Fluent in English
• Proficiency with Windows 11 and MS Office
• US Citizen

Responsibilities

• Purchase raw materials and hardware from domestic and international vendors
• Manage Material Requirements Planning (MRP) scans
• Prepare and negotiate RFQs
• Create and manage Purchase Orders and corrections
• Coordinate lead times with production schedules
• Monitor supplier performance and conduct reviews
• Maintain ASL and QDL
• Support quality certs with QA
• Handle requisitions for tools and equipment
• Identify process improvements using Six Sigma and Lean tools
• Occasional outside processing and manufacturing buying
