Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in prototype/mockup development, fabrication, and test/validation labs, preferably aerospace.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support fabrication, assembly, installation and modification of prototypes according to specs and drawings.
• Act as primary safety representative for Environmental, Health and Safety topics within the labs.
• Plan and direct prototype lab activities, manage capacity, and ensure safe operation.
• Develop engineering packages and test plans for prototype and mockup development.
• Support project managers with quotations, schedules, and manufacturing plans related to prototype development.
