Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer in Florida with 8+ years of CNC machining experience for complex aerospace products. You will collaborate with engineering to design, prototype, and manufacture hardware, while driving DFx and fixture design.

The role requires strong communication, GD&T knowledge, and the ability to work across teams and sites. Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, supporting rapid iteration, and ensuring manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering relevant to manufacturing.
• Proven experience in CNC machining for complex aerospace components.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and manufacturing practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering during hardware design and development.
• Prototype manufacturing and evaluate iterations with design teams.
• Operate CNC/machining equipment to support development projects.
• Provide guidance on DFx, tooling, and fixture design for manufacture.
• Review engineering drawings and approve manufacturing processes.
• Support repair and rework activities as needed.
