Job summary

L3Harris Technologies’ Culpeper site in Orange County is expanding its center of excellence for solid rocket motor propulsion and energetics development. As a Manufacturing Technician B, you will perform routine and repetitive tasks in manufacturing operations under direct supervision, including pressure tests, bonds, assembly, paint, and preparing products for shipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 4 years of relevant experience, or 2 years post-secondary/associates with 0-2 years of related experience.
• Strong ability to perform precision assembly and use torque tooling.
• Ability to obtain US Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Precision assembly of aerospace components.
• Fabrication, cleaning, and assembly of equipment and tools.
• Case prep, line and cast, cure, and machine solid rocket propellant.
• Apply liner materials and inspect finished parts.
• Maintain records for manufactured products.
