Job summary

Apex Technology, Inc. is seeking a Proposal Specialist to drive growth by crafting high-quality responses to RFIs and RFPs and by managing the full proposal lifecycle across US government, commercial, and international opportunities.

You will distill complex spacecraft and defense concepts into persuasive content, collaborate with BD, product, and mission management, and ensure timely, compliant deliverables while maintaining Apex’s templates and content library.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience writing, drafting, and editing proposals for US government or aerospace customers.
• Experience coordinating with engineering, BD, contracts teams under tight deadlines.
• Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear proposals.
• Clear communication in writing and speaking across audiences.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary author for RFIs, RFPs, and other business opportunities.
• Oversee the entire proposal lifecycle and ensure final delivery of complete proposals including technical, cost/price, schedule, and other content.
• Translate technical concepts into accessible reading materials for a variety of audiences.
• Create persuasive content that showcases product strengths, capabilities, and solutions to address customer needs.
• Convert high-level details into high-impact proposal content.
• Align work with established guidelines and quality standards.
• Produce high-caliber work on time, every time.
