Apex Space, Inc. is seeking a Proposal Specialist to drive growth by drafting compelling proposals for US Government, Commercial, and International markets.

You will manage the entire proposal lifecycle, turning technical details into persuasive content and coordinating with engineering, BD, and contracts to win contracts. Join a fast-paced team focused on delivering high-quality proposals on tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience writing, drafting, and editing proposals for US government or other sophisticated aerospace & defense customers.
• Experience with cross-functional teams (engineering, BD, contracts, etc.) under tight deadlines.
• Meticulous, proactive, and highly organized.
• Clear communication in various formats (written/spoken, synchronous/asynchronous).
• Solid writing and editing skills.
• Coachable and team-oriented; open to feedback.
• Strong ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines.
• Direct experience in spacecraft or spacecraft-adjacent markets is a plus.
• Active Top Secret SCI clearance or willingness to attain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary author of responses to RFIs, RFPs, and other new business opportunities.
• Oversee and quarterback the entire proposal lifecycle; own final delivery of complete proposals including technical, cost/price, schedule, and other content.
• Translate technical concepts into easily digestible reading materials for varied audiences.
• Create persuasive content showcasing product strengths and solutions.
• Transform high-level details into high-impact content for proposals.
• Align work with established guidelines and quality standards.
• Produce high-caliber work on time, every time.
