Job summary

HEICO Aerospace in Ohio seeks a Project Engineer to develop electro‑mechanical components at FSC facility in Highland Heights. You will manage all aspects of product development, reverse engineer parts, and refine designs using CAD and 3‑D/2‑D drawings.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering, CAD experience, and familiarity with FAA processes. Travel 5‑15%; fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering required.
• Experience with CAD software required.
• Experience with LABView highly desired.
• Experience working to commercial aerospace standards is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing components and reverse engineer to develop replacements.
• Use test equipment to analyze and design components.
• Review and revise 3-D models and 2-D drawings in SolidWorks.
• Oversee circuit and PCB design for end products and test equipment.
• Coordinate FAA design substantiation document packages and FAA reviews.
• Forecast and track project status for management.
