Job summary

Flight Specialties Components Corp. (FSC), a subsidiary of HEICO Aerospace, is recruiting for a Project Engineer to develop electro-mechanical components at our Highland Heights, Ohio facility.

You will manage all aspects of product development, analyze existing components for reverse engineering, review 3‑D models in Solidworks, and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure successful product realization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering required.
• Experience with CAD software required.
• Experience with aerospace standards is highly desired.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Manage and participate in all aspects of product development for assigned components.
• Reverse engineer existing aircraft components and develop equivalent or improved replacement parts.
• Review, approve and revise 3-D models and 2-D drawings in Solidworks; design circuits and PCBs for end products.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams; oversee test procedures and qualification testing.
• Forecast and track project status for management review.
