Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or related technical discipline; Master/MBA preferred.
• 7-9 years of related experience.
• Strong communication and project leadership capabilities.
• Proficiency with engineering software and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Leads technical projects or phases for design and development of core products.
• Manages scope, cost and schedule; acts as advisor on major projects.
• Plans, schedules and coordinates assigned project staff; no direct reports.
• Maintains customer interface and presents project status; negotiates changes as needed.
• Ensures compliance with engineering standards, documentation, and IP considerations.
• Supports mentoring and development of team members; establishes project milestones.
• Uses Earned Value Management where applicable and tracks variances.
• Prepares technical work products including schematics, layouts and test plans.
