Job summary

Parker Hannifin, a Fortune 250 global leader in motion and control technologies, is seeking an engineering leader for the Military Flight Controls Division in Irvine, CA. You will provide technical direction for product development, manage scope, cost and schedule, and engage with customers and suppliers to advance complex flight control systems.

Ideal candidates bring 10–12 years in aerospace electromechanical actuation, strong engineering knowledge, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science; 10–12 years in aerospace electromechanical actuation preferred.
• Strong domain knowledge across mechanical/electronic disciplines and government regulations.
• Ability to communicate to senior stakeholders and influence decisions.
• Proven project leadership and cost/schedule management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction for product development teams with long-term impact.
• Manage scope, cost and schedule for assigned projects.
• Coordinate project staff and ensure milestones are met.
• Act as technical advisor on major projects with customers and suppliers.
• Maintain effective customer interfaces to present status and progress.
• Apply and monitor engineering standards and documentation across deliverables.
