Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks an Operations professional to own and lead the operations process for development contracts and manufacturing programs. You will drive accountability for cost, schedule, and quality while coordinating with Program Management, Supply Chain, and Engineering to ensure on-time delivery and first-time quality.

The role requires a university degree or equivalent experience, plus 2+ years in manufacturing, and an active DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

University Degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

Own and lead the operations process for development contracts and manufacturing programs.
Drive cost, schedule, and quality accountability across operations.
Coordinate program schedules with PM, Supply Chain, Subcontracts, and Engineering to ensure on-time delivery and first-time quality.
Develop and execute Manufacturing Plans aligning business needs with factory capabilities.
Implement cost-reduction initiatives for recurring efforts and new opportunities.
Lead operations proposal activities including task descriptions and basis of estimates.
