Job summary

The Program Manager serves as the primary owner of assigned aerospace customer programs, owning schedule, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction from award through delivery. This hands-on role is based at CTL’s facility in northern Cincinnati, Ohio, collaborating with production, engineering, quality, and supply chain to resolve real-time issues and drive improvements to processes and the MRP system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years as a Program Manager in aerospace.
• Proven success managing customer programs with major OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production scheduling, and MRP/ERP.
• Hands-on plant experience, engaging with shop floor teams to solve problems.
• Excellent communication and relationship-management; able to present to customers.
• Strong analytical skills interpreting schedule, cost, and quality data.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end program performance: schedule adherence, cost, quality, on-time delivery.
• Serve as primary customer-facing representative; manage reviews and issue resolution with key customers.
• Develop and maintain integrated program schedules, risk registers, and action trackers.
• Lead cross-functional program reviews, IPTs, milestone reviews, and escalation meetings.
• Manage program financials including budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Work on the production floor to identify bottlenecks, quality escapes, and risks in real time.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering to implement corrective actions and improvements.
• Identify root causes of recurring issues and drive data-informed solutions.
• Support capacity planning and production scheduling to meet program commitments.
• Improve MRP configuration, master data integrity, and planning workflows; lean initiatives.
