Job summary

Applied Aerospace is seeking a program manager responsible for overall program performance, cost, quality, and schedule. The role directs Manufacturing Engineers and Technicians to ensure objectives are met, and interfaces with engineering, purchasing, contracts and operations.

The position requires strong communication skills, extensive aerospace experience, and ability to lead weekly program reviews and customer communications. ITAR eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Requires ITAR eligibility and U.S. person per ITAR.
• Experience planning and controlling program budgets and schedules.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Make all decisions related to cost, quality, and schedule.
• Direct line authority over Manufacturing Engineers and Technicians.
• Lead technical issue resolution and weekly status reporting.
• Conduct weekly program review meetings with cross‑functional teams.
• Review contract changes for cost and schedule impact and integrate into PO.
• Communicate with customers as needed through various channels.
• Generate program reports explaining variances to budget and schedule.
• Support bid and proposal activities and cost estimation workbooks.
• Select personnel based on knowledge and experience for the program.
• Ensure program objectives are understood by staff and aligned activities.
