Job summary

Athena Manufacturing, LP in Austin, TX seeks a Program Manager to own commercial and aerospace programs from launch through final delivery. You will coordinate engineering, operations, supply chain, and quality to meet customer specs, delivery commitments, and cost targets.

You will serve as the primary customer contact, track program performance, resolve issues, run program meetings, and document decisions. The role emphasizes 2 Second Lean improvements to reduce waste and improve execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience coordinating manufacturing projects or customer programs.
• Ability to manage schedules, budgets, priorities, and multiple deadlines with sound judgment and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication, customer relationship, and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Comfort with Microsoft Office; ability to learn reporting, estimating, and manufacturing or inventory systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and lead problem solving across teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain program plans, milestones, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements for assigned programs.
• Coordinate work across engineering, operations, supply chain, and quality; clarify priorities, dependencies, and deliverables to keep programs on track.
• Monitor program progress, costs, risks, and KPIs; identify variances and lead timely corrective actions.
• Communicate program status, changes, and commitments clearly to customers and internal stakeholders; maintain productive customer relationships.
• Confirm that program deliverables meet customer requirements and applicable quality, contractual, and delivery expectations.
• Lead program meetings, document decisions and action items, and follow through on commitments through final delivery.
