Job summary

Senior Aerospace SSP, a division of Senior plc, seeks a Program Manager to lead and improve programs from design through production, ensuring cost, schedule, and technical goals are met. You will train IPT leaders, coordinate cross-functional teams, and maintain strong customer relations to deliver robust program outcomes.

The role emphasizes process improvement, risk mitigation, and effective governance through PDP and phase gate practices, with opportunities to drive continuous improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) or Business Administration; MBA is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with progressive responsibility leading to Program Manager.
• Formal training in Phase Gate, Lean, Six Sigma is preferred and aerospace experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage the successful launch and execution of new programs, meeting cost, schedule and technical goals.
• Lead IPTs and coordinate design engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and customer interfaces.
• Monitor program plans, schedule, budget, risks, changes, and EVMS performance; ensure realistic plans and timely decisions.
• Mentor IPT Leaders on phase gate processes and performance metrics.
• Maintain proactive customer relations and manage scope, proposals and negotiations.
