Job summary

Eaton's IS AER FED division located at Beltsville, MD, seeks a Program Manager I to lead NPD/STP programs and manage IPTs, budgets, and customer relationships.

The role drives program performance, cost control, risk management, and life-cycle success with cross-site teams and external partners. A Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in program management are required; US work authorization is necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of three (3) years experience in Program Management; or a combination of Program Management with some Engineering and/or Product Development Management.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.
• ITAR requires U.S. person status (citizenship, permanent residency, asylee, or refugee).
• No relocation benefit; candidates within 50-mile radius of Beltsville, MD or Glenolden, PA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage P&L for NPD/STP programs and ensure delivery within technical, schedule, budget, cost, and quality commitments.
• Lead IPTs across projects; coach teams and resolve issues.
• Set objectives and guide program teams on scope changes and risk assessments; facilitate PM processes.
• Manage customer communications and interface with the customer on contractual commitments.
• Publish PM metrics and conduct program reviews to track progress and performance.
• Maintain metrics for earned value, quality, and delivery across PROLaunch phases.
• Identify and mitigate program risks with cross-site teams.
• Support pricing strategies and contract negotiations; ensure effective change management.
• Provide monthly program status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Contribute to new business proposals and overall program planning.
