Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Senior Program Specialist to be the primary contact for complex programs and ensure successful execution. You will manage activities, facilitate stakeholder communication, and align with organizational goals.

You will drive program planning, monitoring, and execution, interfacing with teams to meet contractual commitments and client deadlines. The role requires collaboration across technical, operational, and customer-facing stakeholders in a hybrid work

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of project/program management experience.
• U.S. Citizen due to contractual requirements.
• Experience supporting EVMS and IPDS based projects for defense and space customers.
• Familiarity with project management tools including MS Project, Accolade, LEAP, Salesforce, MAT, and AOP/ARR.
• PMP, PgMP, CAPM, or comparable project management certification.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment and to manage tasks with minimum supervision.
• Customer satisfaction mindset; focused on meeting contractual requirements and maintaining customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, customer satisfaction and adherence to timelines & budget.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation.
• Ownership of project budgets, forecasting revenue, tracking costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings and supporting financial reporting.
• Execute risk, contract & change management, issue resolution, project controls, and performance monitoring.
• Drive efforts to resolve manufacturing and/or supply base issues that prevent delivery of hardware following contractual required delivery dates and to increase manufacturing capacity as needed.
• Create and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
• Utilize project and program management tools for scheduling, reporting, forecasting, and status tracking.
• Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate activities across technical, operational, and customer-facing stakeholders.
• Analyze data and provide actionable insights to improve program outcomes.
• Be prepared to travel 25-30% of the time to meet with clients, stakeholders and project team sites as necessary.
