Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a senior program manager to lead a team of program leads across global development programs. You will define, generate and implement program plans to meet scope, schedule, cost, and quality targets, with minimal PMO supervision.

You will mentor managers, drive IPDS processes, manage risks, and coordinate with functions to ensure performance and alignment with product-line strategies. A PMP and security clearance eligibility are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Finance, or relevant discipline.
• 6+ years of experience in engineering program management or related roles.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering engineering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and people-oriented skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Experience in risk management and problem-solving.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor team of program managers as they direct work and approve resource requirements and program estimates while leading integrated program teams through the Integrated Product Delivery & Support (IPDS) Process
• Performance Management & Talent Management--leads overall team strategy and helps all members with technical guidance and career growth opportunities
• Own and execute a programmatic Management Operating System to drive on-time and on-schedule execution
• Own and employ PM tools and development processes, including statement-of-work (SOW), work-breakdown- structure (WBS), basis-of-estimate (BOE) management, scope / requirements management, scheduling, and cost management
• Manage risk across programs
• Coordinate with Functions to ensure programs are supported in terms of technical performance, schedule, and cost requirements
• Communicate complex program management and financial issues to all levels, effectively linking program performance with financial results and product line strategies
