Job summary

The Lighthouse for the Blind, Inc. is seeking a Temporary Production Worker II for its Aerospace division. The role requires basic mechanical aptitude and at least 1 year of sheet metal production experience.

Responsibilities include riveting, deburring, assembly, labeling, and counting parts while maintaining safety and quality standards. This temporary position supports operations on 2nd or 3rd shift, with opportunities to mentor teammates and contribute to efficient production processes

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of sheet metal production/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and to stand or sit for up to 8 hours with standard breaks.

Responsibilities

• Install rivets in countersunk holes and affix with tape.
• Read and understand work order operations.
• Independently clean and deburr parts.
• Assemble and label boxes.
• Count finished parts accurately.
• Select appropriate deburring media and use tools.
• Mentor co-workers while following safety policies.
