Job summary

Woodward, Inc. is hiring Operations Technicians to support the Air Valve Production line at our Rock Cut Campus in Loves Park, IL. The role is on 3rd Shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with training on 1st shift during the initial two weeks.

These positions involve machine operation, use of hand tools and inspection equipment, and producing high-quality aerospace components. Training may shift for a few months after the initial period.

Qualifications

• Follows documented procedures and SOPs.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines and use hand and specialty tools to produce quality aerospace parts.
• Follow documented procedures and maintain accurate logs of daily operations.
• Inspect and measure products to ensure conformance to specifications; maintain clean and organized workstation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and adhere to 5S and lean practices.
