Job summary

Woodward, Inc. in Rockford, IL is hiring Operations Technicians to support the Air Valve Production line at the Rock Cut Campus in Loves Park. The role is on 3rd Shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, involving machine operation, hand tools, and inspection equipment to produce quality aerospace parts.

Training for the first two weeks will be on 1st shift (7:00am–3:30pm); starting the 3rd week, training may be on an alternate shift for a few months.

Qualifications

• Follows documented procedures to produce products using specified tools and equipment.
• Maintains 5S and cleanliness at workstations.
• Adheres to safety protocols and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and perform processes per SOPs.
• Observe process variables and log operations.
• Conduct inspections to verify product quality.
• Maintain neat, organized work area following 5S.
• Support training and continuous improvement activities.
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals.
