Job summary

Woodward, Inc. is hiring Manufacturing Operations Technicians to support the production lines at the Rock Cut Campus in Loves Park, IL.

The role is on weekends, 2nd shift, with Friday–Sunday, 3:00pm–3:30am hours, performing manufacturing, assembly, testing and related operations to produce high-quality aerospace parts. Training hours for the first two weeks are on the 1st shift, 7:00am–3:30pm; starting in the third week, training may move to an alternate shift for a few months.

Responsibilities

• Operates according to documented procedures to produce products using specified tools and equipment.
• Flexes and supports the full product line in various processes/capacities.
• Observes and records key process variables to ensure consistency and quality.
• Accurately logs daily operations and resolves or escalates concerns.
• Follows standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Conducts inspections and tests to verify product quality and records data.
• Maintains clean, organized workstations following 5S.
• Keeps tools, materials, and equipment properly stored and maintained.
• Demonstrates safety mindfulness and regulatory compliance.
• Communicates effectively with team members and supervisors to support workflow.
