Job summary

RTX is seeking a Production Quality Engineering Co-Op in the United States (Minnesota). The role is onsite and runs from June to December, offering hands-on experience in production improvement, new product introductions, and failure analysis.

You will learn about Lean tools, 8D root-cause analysis, supplier quality, and quality management systems while developing engineering skills in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related STEM major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 credits by the start of the co-op session.

Responsibilities

• Support production improvement and new product introduction projects.
• Conduct product failure analysis and corrective actions.
• Assist in managing and ensuring supplier quality.
• Help implement and maintain quality management systems.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing tools.
