Job summary

RTX Cedar Rapids is seeking a Product Quality Co-Op to gain hands-on experience ensuring the highest standards of manufacturing quality. You will collaborate with product quality teams in Cedar Rapids to support initiatives that improve processes and outcomes, assisting with defect reviews, scrap analysis, and data-driven improvements.

You will learn to conduct root-cause analysis, recommend corrective actions, and work with cross-functional teams to align with quality protocols.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Advanced degree in an Aerospace Engineering, Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the co-op session.
• Experience in quality-related tasks.
• Experience may be obtained through coursework, research, projects, or on-the-job experience.

Responsibilities

• Assisting product quality teams in reviewing defects and conducting scrap analysis.
• Providing manufacturing support to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement within production processes.
• Participating in root cause analysis and recommending corrective actions for quality issues.
• Supporting proactive quality initiatives to prevent defects and optimize performance.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with quality protocols and objectives.
