Job summary

RTX is seeking a Product Quality Co-Op in Manchester, IA (onsite) to gain hands-on experience ensuring the highest standards of manufacturing quality. You will collaborate with product quality teams in Cedar Rapids to support critical initiatives, review defects, scrap analysis, and drive process improvements.

This role offers exposure to QA concepts, root cause analysis, project management, and cross-functional teamwork to strengthen manufacturing outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Advanced degree in an Aerospace Engineering, Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the co-op session.
• Experience in quality-related tasks.
• Experience may be obtained through coursework, research, projects, or on-the-job experience.

Responsibilities

• Assisting product quality teams in reviewing defects and conducting scrap analysis.
• Providing manufacturing support to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement within production processes.
• Participating in root cause analysis and recommending corrective actions for quality issues.
• Supporting proactive quality initiatives to prevent defects and optimize performance.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with quality protocols and objectives.
