Job summary

Triumph Geared Solutions- Macomb is seeking a Planner to oversee customer schedules using ERP systems, coordinating with expeditors, Contracts, and Program Management to align demand with manufacturing capacity. You will ensure timely daily/weekly shipments with inspection and shipping teams to meet deliveries.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years planning experience in aerospace manufacturing, with strong data handling, communication, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Minimum 5 years experience as a planner
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to promote the company vision and communicate effectively
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Organize daily plans for multiple departments
• Strong data handling and spreadsheet skills
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing environments
• Knowledge of production and manufacturing processes and techniques
• Strong mathematical and computer skills
• Working knowledge of aerospace customer base

Responsibilities

• Manage work orders to customer demand
• Manage and prioritize source list
• Review production schedules and communicate with expeditor MFG needs
• Create daily/weekly ship schedules
• Work with Master Scheduler to identify risks/opportunities
• Ensure MRB and Rework work orders align with customer demand
• Work with expeditor to create and maintain expedited plans
• Manage Ship Schedule
• Manage shortages for assembly builds
• Review milestones and communicate with expeditor for production needs
• Create Shipment list for all stock shipments
• Review late starting work orders and coordinate with purchasing
• Review monthly forecast to identify risks and opportunities
• Run planned order report for new requirements
• Run exceptions report to ensure internal supply matches customer demands
• Other duties as assigned.
