Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Production Operator to support the manufacturing and repair of aerospace components in a fast-paced environment. You will perform production, cleaning, assembly, and processing tasks while following standardized work instructions, quality requirements, and safety practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to clearly communicate in English with work instructions.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, measuring equipment, and manufacturing machinery.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety procedures, and documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn multiple processes.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Cross-train and perform production operations across multiple manufacturing areas.
• Use hand tools, power tools, machinery, and shop equipment to prepare, clean, process, repair, and assemble aerospace components.
• Follow work instructions and procedures to cut, shape, bond, form, inject, cure, trim, drill, and repair parts.
• Perform chemical cleaning and surface preparation processes.
• Conduct hand cleaning operations including acid etch, sanding, blending, and deburring.
• Use measuring and inspection tools to verify quality requirements.
